Since when is it the business of the US government whether a foreign official attends a US political conference, much less a conference organized by a group whose interests conflict with those of that government? One day the Obama administration will appreciate that its fortunes will improve, both politically and diplomatically, when it begins to treat Israel as a friend and not an adversary.
